In this edition, we will have the presentation “A Race from Beyond and from Below – How Germany’s ‘Non-Excellent’ Universities Are Coming Under Pressure” by Prof. Dr. Carola Jungwirth, Chair of Governance at the School of Business, Economics and Information Systems of the University of Passau (Germany).

In this edition, we will have the presentation “IPRE's Experience in Promoting European Reforms: Contribution Within HESPRI and Other Initiatives” by Diana Doroș, from the Institute for European Policy and Reform (IPRE).

CIPES 4th PhD Student Workshop - Higher Education in Transition: Challenges, Policies, and Future Directions

Last Friday, 12 September, the 4th CIPES PhD Workshop took place at the CIPES premises in Matosinhos. The event was organised by CIPES researchers Carlos Azevedo and Joyce Aguiar. The Director of CIPES, António Magalhães, opened the event, followed by a presentation entitled “Demystifying Peer Review”, delivered by João M Santos, Editor-in-Chief of the journal Higher Education Quarterly.
